The fifth commandment of article writing is, "Thou shalt not leave spelling mistakes in published articles."
We've all read published articles with mistakes related to spelling and either had to read the line over again or thought, "What in the world?" We see it in your usual Internet articles and we see it in articles written by popular news agencies. Is it because they are in a hurry? Well, probably. But when writing articles for search engine placement optimization, you really can't have any spelling errors in your published article.
Here are reasons why you want to leave out the spelling mistakes:
Readers may have a difficult time receiving your message because they have to reread sentences.
Leaving spelling errors in articles shows that the writer did not go back and check for mistakes.
Some view spelling mistakes as carelessness.
Although the writer may not be unreliable, spelling mistakes may relay that feeling to some.
If you have written your own article and are not sure about the spelling within that article, simply have someone else take a look. Having an extra set of eyes can do wonders for the quality of your articles. You can even utilize the feedback to better the articles for the public.
Otherwise, simply go back through the articles to make sure there are no spelling mistakes. Even if you know how to spell a word, typos do happen. If you want your articles to be effective in search engine placement optimization, you have to make sure they are correct in every way.
And if you are unable to go through your articles right after you are finished, go back a couple of hours later to go through them. Sometimes the content is so fresh in your mind that it is much more difficult to catch mistakes. In the end, you'll find that your search engine placement optimization works better just because spelling mistakes have been eliminated from your article marketing.
